It's almost Oscars time! Before you fill out your ballot, catch up on how this year's nominees have been doing throughout the 2018 awards season!

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) tonight announced winners of its Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards in 23 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater. Winners in the film categories include "DARKEST HOUR," "PITCH PERFECT 3," "I, TONYA" and "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol 2." Television winners include "GAME OF THRONES," "DANCING WITH THE STARS," "THE CROWN," "BIG LITTLE LIES," "FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN" and "AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT." Winners in the Daytime Television category were awarded to "THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.' "HENRY DANGER" wins Best Children/Teen Program. Theatrical honors go to MAMMA MIA and the Commercial/ Music Video Award was presented to AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT - PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN.

AARP The Magazine is pleased to announce the nominees for the upcoming 17th Annual Movies for Grownups Awards, with Get Out, Lady Bird, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Shape of Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri contending in the Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups category.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced the winners for THE EE BRITISH ACADEMY FILM AWARDS. The BAFTA Awards ceremony was held today, February 18th, at London's Royal Albert Hall. Among the top winners were 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' and 'The Shape of Water.'

PBS First-Ever Broadcast of Movies for Grownups Awards with AARP the Magazine

Legendary actress TIPPI HEDREN (The Birds) joins CARRIE ANN INABA (Dancing With The Stars) and actor JOE MANTEGNA (Criminal Minds) as presenters at the Annual Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706). The black-tie awards gala returns to the NOVO by Microsoft in L.A. Live on Saturday, February 24, 2018. The announcement was made today by Sue Cabral-Ebert, President of IATSE Local 706. According to Deadline, the SAG Awards have set the date for the 2019 awards ceremony on TNT and TBS. The show will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019. Read more about it from Deadline here!

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced today its lineups for the annual Writers and Producers Panel series. Peter Spears (Call Me By Your Name), Lisa Bruce (Darkest Hour), Emma Thomas (Dunkirk), Sean McKittrick (Get Out), Evelyn O'Neill (Lady Bird), Daniel Lupi (Phantom Thread), J. Miles Dale (The Shape of Water), and Graham Broadbent (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) are this year's participants on the “Movers and Shakers” Producers Panel. Adrian Molina (Coco), Edgar Wright (Baby Driver), Virgil Williams (Mudbound), Michael H. Weber (The Disaster Artist), Emily V. Gordon (The Big Sick), Liz Hannah (The Post), and Mike Vanessa Taylor (The Shape of Water) will speak on the “It Starts With the Script” Writers Panel.
