This just in - Escape to Margaritaville, the new musical featuring the songs of singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett, will play its final Broadway performance at the Marquis Theatre on Sunday, July 1, 2018, after 29 preview and 124 regular performances.

Parrotheads across the U.S., man your blenders! The producer of Jimmy Buffett's big Broadway musical ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE announced on Twitter tonight that the tropical tuner will be heading out on a national tour, set to kick off October 2019 at the Providence Center in Rhode Island. According to the Tweet more cities are set to be announced in the coming months!

Directed by Academy Award(R)-Nominee Agnieszka Holland as well as Kasia Adamik, Olga Chajdas and Agnieszka Smoczynsk, the eight-episode series recently started production and is expected to be available to Netflix members globally later this year.

The Geffen Playhouse today announced the nine productions that will make up its 2018/2019 season, the first from new Artistic Director Matt Shakman.
