The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will be kicking off its 20th Anniversary Platinum Season on January 17th when the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, The Sound of Music, returns to the theatre. It will be the first show in a blockbuster line-up in a year that will celebrate Way Off Broadway's two decades of bringing live theatre to the stage.

Today, November 17 at 2 p.m., Nick Dowen will present an hour-long program on the life of opera great Ezio Pinza. Dowen, who has been collecting records since he was 13 years old, will share some of his thousands of recordings in a powerpoint presentation about the life of one of the most prolific singers in the history of music. A bass with a rich, smooth and sonorous voice, Pinza spent 22 seasons at New York's Metropolitan Opera, appearing in more than 750 performances of 50 operas. A popular recording star, Pinza went on to appear on Broadway, in Hollywood movies, and on television in his own series and daytime variety shows that were popular in the 1950s.

Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Michael Feinstein welcome star of stage and screen, Roslyn Kind, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances only - Friday, November 8 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, November 9 (7 p.m.). Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting.
