New York Theatre Ballet's (NYTB) 2012-2013 season will debut an all-new ballet, Bark! In The Park with choreography by Chase Brock of Broadway's hit Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, and story and music by Karen LeFrak paired with the perennial favorite Russian folk tale, The Firebird today, February 23 and tomorrow, the 24th. Both productions will join Sleeping Beauty, Goose! and Peter & the Wolf in its series of perfect 1-hour ballets for kids and families.

New York Theatre Ballet's (NYTB) spring program, Legends And Visionaries, will perform two of Richard Alston's works; A Rugged Flourish and the U.S. premiere of Light Flooding Into Darkened Rooms.

Young and old alike were fascinated as NYTB dancers performed the story of the Tucker family who lose their beloved family dog, Mr. Benjamin, in Central Park.

Gotham Chamber Opera continues its 2012-2013 Season with ELIOGABALO (1667) by Francesco Cavalli. The show will run from March 15-29, 2013 at 8pm at The Box, 189 Chrystie Street, NYC. Eliogabalo will be performed on Friday, March 15; Tuesday, March 19; Thursday, March 21; Saturday, March 23; Tuesday, March 26; and Friday, March 29.

This spring the Frick will present a selection of nineteenth-century French drawings and prints from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Remarkable sheets by Jean-François Millet, Gustave Courbet, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Camille Pissarro, Paul Gauguin, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and other masters will be on view in the lower-level galleries and Cabinet. Ranging widely in subject matter and technique and spanning the entire second half of the nineteenth century, the fifty-eight works represent the diverse interests of Realist, Impressionist, and Post-Impressionist artists in a rapidly changing world.
