New York Theatre Ballet (NYTB) returns for a second season of Keith Michael's Nutcracker, an enchanting holiday ballet. This one-hour ballet is perfect for children ages 3-10, with clever choreography sophisticated enough for the most discerning parent. Opening night at New York City's Florence Gould Hall will be tonight, December 7 at 4:30 p.m., with additional shows on December 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21 and 22 (see schedule below).

Bang the Lion has lost his beat. How will he find it? Set to Debussy's 'String Quartet in G Minor' - which will be performed live by the Bryant Park Quartet - the new work is inspired by Picasso's iconic 1905 painting, 'Famille de Saltimbanques.'
