Dance Rising NYC has announced a five borough Video Tour (Still Dancing) through March 21 to mark the one-year anniversary of NYC's cultural shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Screens across New York City will broadcast videos from Dance Rising's fall 2020 dance-outs, bringing visibility to the dance industry.

The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) has announced this year's recipients of grants through the CreateNYC Language Access Fund. 36 NYC-based nonprofits will receive grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 in support of programming that increases access to arts and culture for those whose primary language is not English. The awarded programs represent 12 languages a?" including Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and American Sign Language a?" and will serve audiences in all five boroughs.

ENCUENTRO NYC Colombian Music Festival, founded by musicians Pablo Mayor and Anna Povich de Mayor is back with Encuentro Underground- Roots, Part 1: An exploration into the Spanish roots of Colombian music, Saturday, November 17, 7pm and 9pm. Celebrating its 14th anniversary, the Festival has found a new home in ID Studio, one of NYC's newest and most vibrant artistic centers in the South Bronx (311 E. 140th St., two blocks from the 6 train).
