Colorado-born, Boston-based alto saxophonist, composer and educator Tia Fuller has been one of the most delightful and distinguished musicians on the jazz scene for two decades.

Tuesday, December 13 at 8pm in Brooklyn at Wild East Brewing in their 'barrel room,' Camille Harris will perform her original modern jazz alongside Wayne Tucker (trumpet), Georgia Weber (bass), Diego Ramirez (drums), Eden Bareket (baritone sax and bass clarinet), and David Linard (piano).

On Saturday, November 12th, Flushing Town Hall will host the 16th annual NEA Jazz Masters concert “The Blues Feeling,” led by the acclaimed American jazz virtuoso Jimmy Owens.

The acclaimed concert series Jacaranda continues its quest to inspire audiences with the long-awaited concert premiere of ARKHIPOV, an opera by composer Peter Knell and Stephanie Fleischmann, winner of Opera America’s 2022 Campbell Librettist Prize.

Signature Theatre will present Quiara Alegría Hudes’ My Broken Language, the acclaimed playwright’s stage adaptation of her eponymous memoir, and her return to Signature for the second play in her Premiere Residency. Michael R. Jackson's WHITE GIRL IN DANGER will begin previews on March 15, 2023 and will officially open on April 10, 2023 at Second Stage’s Off-Broadway home, the Tony Kiser Theater. The limited 8-week run will play through Sunday, May 21, 2023.

In this world premiere work, JOJO ABOT, an Ewe woman from Ghana, West Africa, references indigenous practices in which the feminine is a conduit for the divine.

National Sawdust has announced its Fall 2022 season, bringing musical and multidisciplinary artists from around the world to its state-of-the-art Williamsburg, Brooklyn home to share ambitious new explorations.

Accomplished jazz musicians Leala Cyr and Cameron Shave will make their Provincetown Jazz Festival debut at Cotuit Center for the Arts on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 7:30pm as part of the 18th Annual Provincetown Jazz Festival.

The track also prominently features the funk-tinged  guitar playing of Dylan Day (Amos Lee, Grace Potter, Nick Hakim, Ethan Gruska), a friend of Elbert who played alongside her in Jenny Lewis’ band, and follows the previous single “Not Alone,” for which Elbert shared a live video performance video featuring her tourmate Jacob Collier.

The Indo-American Arts Council announces the always eagerly anticipated dance performances, this year including special events to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence Day, August 15.  The celebration will feature two live performances, August 6 & 7 at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre, and a virtual August 8th streaming with artists from India, Canada, and the U.S.
