The annual star-studded holiday event SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert returned to New York City on December 3rd for its 6th consecutive year, once again benefiting the programs and services of The Actors Fund. This one-night-only extravaganza, produced and hosted by TV personality Scott Nevins (Bravo's The People's Couch), took place at The Cutting Room (44 E 32nd St.), featuring a high-wattage star power cast filled with some of today's hottest performers from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and the music industry. For the first time in its illustrious history, world-renowned center for the performing arts Stagedoor Manor has announced it will hold programing outside its traditional summer sessions. This winter, Stagedoor Manor Studios is hosting three long-weekend intensives in New York City, focusing on audition preparation, playwriting and master acting, and behind the scenes work.

CBS announced today that Sara Ramirez has joined the cast of MADAM SECRETARY as a series regular. Ramirez will be introduced in the episode to air Sunday, Nov. 19 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Chris Isaacson Presents and the City of Los Angeles have announced that Grammy Award-winning recording artist and Motown legend Thelma Houston in her show My Motown Memories & More! has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 15 at 7:30pm at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center. All previously purchased Ford Amphitheatre tickets will be honored for the new date.

On Monday, August 14, Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland was the place for an enormous variety of musical talent, with Caruso hosting, Billy Stritch accompanying on the eighty-eights, and the Cast Party Symphony Orchestra (Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums).
