MusicWorks today announced that it would present the third of four concerts featuring iconic folk musicians on Wednesday, February 10 at Old School Square / Crest Theatre, located at 51 North Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach (one block north of Atlantic Avenue).

Critically-acclaimed cabarettist Molly Pope returns to Joe's Pub for the live recording of her very first album, An Audience with Molly Pope. Drawing from a catalogue of re-contextualized pop, theater and standards, the "viscerally thrilling alto" (Time Out New York) brings a mix of favorite repertoire and new material.

Four country music and bluegrass artists who have written hundreds of hits and/or performed with some of country music's biggest stars are teaming up to raise money for a humanitarian program sponsored by the Church of the Good Shepherd in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Robyn Hitchcock (Robyn Hitchcock and The Egyptians) broke into the Neo-psychedelia Rock scene when his band, The Soft Boys, released their first album, A Can of Bees, in 1979. Since then, Robyn has released more than twenty albums.  He is one of England's most enduring contemporary singer-songwriters and live performers. A surrealist poet, talented guitarist, cult artist and musician's musician, Robyn Hitchcock is among alternative rock's father figures and is the closest thing the genre has to a Bob Dylan, who is, coincidentally, his biggest musical inspiration. Robyn and opener Emma Swift come to SOPAC January 30 at 8:00 p.m. Starting at 7 p.m. a cash bar and complimentary snacks are available at the Lounge in the Loft on the third floor of SOPAC. A star-filled lineup of artists takes part in IMAGINE: JOHN LENNON 75TH BIRTHDAY CONCERT, an all-star concert event celebrating the music and message of the legendary music icon. The one-night-only concert event taping was held at the Theater at Madison Square Garden o, December 5th at 7:30pm ET, and airs exclusively on AMC tonight, December 19th at 9:00pm ET/PT.

The Milk Carton Kids released their third album, Monterey, this past May.  A refreshing alternative to the foot-stomping grandeur of the so-called "folk revival," an understated virtuosity defines The Milk Carton Kids. The two years since the release of their last album, The Ash & Clay, have been significant ones for the group. In addition to a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album, The Milk Carton Kids won Duo/Group of the Year at the Americana Music Awards in 2014.

KUNC and Z2 Entertainment will present The Milk Carton Kids with Special Guests at the Boulder Theater tonight, December 9th, 2015. Tickets are on sale May 1st for $27.50 general admission.

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts announced today the addition of three new shows in 2016: Vince Gill on Wednesday March 23, Elvis Costello on Tuesday March 29 and Emmylou Harris on Friday September 30. All shows are at 8:00 pm in the Ruth Finley Person Theatre and tickets for the three new shows go on sale to the public Friday, December 18 at noon. Joan Baez will celebrate her 75th birthday on Saturday, January 27 at the Beacon Theatre. The special event will honor her legendary 50 plus years in music in an intimate career spanning live performance. Baez will perform alongside fellow artists and friends, including: Jackson Browne, Indigo Girls,Emmylou Harris, Judy Collins, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Damien Rice, Nano Stern and David Bromberg. Additional acts will be announced shortly. The concert is being recorded and produced for television by Thirteen Productions LLC for WNET New York as part of the Great Performances series on PBS.
