On September 23, 2016 a diverse lineup of artists join celebrated Man Booker Prize-winning author Ian McEwan when he brings his new novel Nutshell to life at Harbourfront Centre Theatre.

Country music legend, a Highwayman, screen star and Academy Award-nominated songwriter, Kris Kristofferson makes his Segerstrom Center for the Arts debut on Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.

Loudon Wainwright and Iris Dement will perform at the Boulder Theater on August 6th, 2016. 

Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris have premiered a new lyric video for an unreleased alternate version of “Wildflowers.” The Parton-penned track, which was originally released on their 1987 collaboration Trio, is featured on the upcoming three-CD set THE COMPLETE TRIO COLLECTION.

Joan Baez will travel to Europe for a series of festivals in July and returns to major U.S. markets in October and November with shows in Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.

He is now on the short list of the foremost rock photographers in the world, but back in 1968 Ethan Russell was a young aspiring American writer with a Nikon camera and photography hobby. He had studied at UC Davis and was now living in London. Mick Jagger asked him to take his picture, and the rest is history: within a few years, Ethan Russell became a multi-Grammy-nominated photographer, director, and author. Jagger noted, 'We trusted Ethan as an artist, which made him invisible to us, and which allowed his photographs to capture our most intimate moments.' On May 20, Ethan Russell will bring such moments to the Harris Center stage, along with his own story and phenomenal photographs. The presentation kicks off a six-week exhibit of Mr. Russell's work at the Bank of America Gallery within the Harris Center for the Arts.
