by BWW News Desk - Sep 09, 2014

Five-time Grammy-Award winning singer-songwriter and 2012 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Mary Chapin Carpenter is on the road again. Mary Chapin Carpenter is well-known for her blend of pop, folk and country-style music. With hits "Passionate Kisses", "I Feel Lucky", "I'll Take My Chances" and "He Thinks He'll Keep Her", she has won five Grammy Awards (with 15 nominations), two CMA awards and two Academy of Country Music awards for her vocals. Carpenter will be joined on stage by longtime friends Jon Carroll (piano) and John Doyle (guitars, bouzouki). Special guest is singer/songwriter Tift Merritt, who has built what has been called a 'unique' and critically acclaimed body of work of 'sonic short stories and poignant performances".
