Cabaret Artist, Solo Performer and Stand Up Comic, D'yan Forest's new solo show, A Broad Abroad! will have its New York City Premiere at the 10th Annual FRIGID Festival on February 16th. The critically acclaimed solo show, which was written by D'yan Forest and Erik Kornfeld, premiered at The Orlando Fringe Festival last May. D'yan Forest performs her unique style of stand up, regularly at the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC. She also performs her solo shows in New York, throughout the US and in Paris. Erik Kornfeld, who has written for Bette Midler and for The Rosie O'Donnel Show, directs.  (more...)

The Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company is transforming Studio G at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting into a German beer hall in this lively production of MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN by Bertolt Brecht and conceived by director John Gould Rubin, which will include live music as well as beer & sausages for purchase. Using a translation by Tony Kushner, the production will open tonight, January 28th, with performances running through February 20th. (more...)

The ageless Peters, who boasts a decades-long successful career on the Broadway, film and television stage, recently starred in the critically acclaimed Broadway production of "Follies" after a highly successful run at the Kennedy Center, and can be seen in the Golden-Globe winning TV series, "Mozart in the Jungle." The Broadway at Birdland concert series will present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the second episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' The event will be taped in front of a live audience on Monday, January 11 at 7pm, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hitHamilton. Groff originated the role of Melchoir Gabor in the stage musical, Spring Awakening, for which he earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical in 2007. He continued his rise to fame during the first season of Glee, as Jesse St. James, a role he reprised in the second and third seasons of the show, and recently starred on the HBO series 'Looking.'
