He reveals: 'This month we'll be celebrating the 7th anniversary of Spring Awakening on Broadway when myself and a few friends of mine bring it all back home to where it all started with a live, special event.' Tratta dalla controversa piece teatrale di Frank Wedekind Risveglio di Primavera, pubblicata nel 1891 e a lungo oggetto di censura per la scabrosita e la provocarieta dei temi, l'opera mette in scena l'amore fra due quattordicenni e il drammatico conflitto tra un gruppo di adolescenti e i loro genitori e insegnanti. SPRING AWAKENING ha riscosso un clamoroso successo di critica e di pubblico e si e ben presto affermato come uno degli spettacoli piu originali e innovativi. Due to popular demand, NYU Skirball Center is adding one additional performance of Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train - Live! Buddy's Big Adventure on November 29 at 11am. A total of six performance will take place November 29-December 1 at 11am and 2pm at the NYU Skirball Center (566 LaGuardia Place), as part of the venue's 2013-14 Big Red Chair Family Series.

Tony Award-winning SPRING AWAKENING composer and popular concert performer Duncan Sheik adds two new shows to his series of upcoming dates announced for early next year on the west coast.

The Jewish Museum will present Gustafer Yellowgold, a concert for families featuring award-winning illustrator/songwriter Morgan Taylor, on Sunday, December 15 at 2 pm. Taylor developed the Gustafer Yellowgold experience as equal parts pop rock concert and minimally animated movie. A storyteller with a comedic bent, Taylor has dreamed up a world of catchy and original story-songs about Gustafer (a friendly guy from the sun who landed in the Minnesota woods), performed alongside a large screen displaying vividly colored animations with karaoke-style subtitles. Gustafer resides in a cottage with his menagerie of friends, including his pet eel; Slim, a tuxedo-wearing pterodactyl best friend; and a dragon named Asparagus who inhabits the fireplace and loves corn on the cob.

New composing team LYONS & PAKCHAR will digitally release their debut album #Love December 2nd! #Love ,an 11-song album that mixes pop, R&B and theatre, explores 'the good, bad and awkward roller coasters in human relationships. L'idea di base e di per se interessante: quattro personaggi, due storie che trascendono tempo, spazio e dimensioni. Da un lato abbiamo la perfetta love story tra due ragazzi newyorkesi, Dave e Amy. Dall'altro abbiamo l'amore 'travagliato' tra Nico, un insicuro doppiatore italiano, e Giulia, la sua psicoterapeuta. I due piani scorrono in parallelo, sfiorandosi appena in un epilogo dolceamaro che ribaltera le carte in tavola (non svelero altro, se volete sapere come va a finire andate a vederlo!).
