To wrap up its record-breaking season full of press favorites and Houston premieres, 4th Wall Theatre Company is delighted to share Pulitzer finalist "Collected Stories" by Donald Margulies. This production will feature Houston's beloved Kim Tobin-Lehl as Ruth Steiner, the exalted Greenwich Village short story writer, and joining Tobin-Lehl as Ruth's protege, Lisa Morrison, is Houston native Reagan Elizabeth.

Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of Long Lost, written by Donald Margulies and directed by Daniel Sullivan, begins performances tomorrow at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Opening night is set for Tuesday, June 4.

Shakespeare & Company's season opens Memorial Day Weekend with Pulitzer Prize finalist The Waverly Gallery by Kenneth Lonergan, directed by Founding Artistic Director Tina Packer. This powerful story sheds a heartrending and humorous light on the effects of senility on a family. Performances run from May 23rd - July 14th in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre.

Opening night is set for Tuesday, May 21.

"Stranger Things" star David Harbour (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Coast of Utopia) meets his match in Tony nominee Steven Boyer (Hand to God, NBC's "Trial & Error"). Their live recording of David Auburn's AN UPSET, directed by Michael Wilson, celebrates Playing on Air's 100th podcast episode.

Intelligently and meticulously directed by Zane Fleming, many layers unfold throughout this professional quality two-hour narrative. The opening minutes - sound effects in blackout effectively capture and convey the backstory - the horrors of modern day warfare - which alerts us to expect scars and wounds, emotional, psychological and physical. On lights up, we are immediately drawn into the disquiet.

Today, April 15 (3pm EST), Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy will announce the winners of the the 2019 Pulitzer Prizes, including the finalists and winners for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy that Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview has officially won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

An exposed-brick studio apartment in Brooklyn in 2009 is the setting for Time Stands Still, a moving play by Donald Margulies, directed by Doug Finlayson, playing now at The New Jewish Theatre. Romantic partners for 8 ½ years, photojournalist Sarah (Wendy Renee Greenwood) and war correspondent James (Ben Nordstrom), return home, Sarah's face bandaged, her arm in a sling, and her leg bound with a brace as she struggles to maneuver on crutches. We don't know exactly what has happened just yet, but we know it's bad, as the play opens with poignant silences, emerging compromises, and a shared consideration for anguish. We soon learn that the couple has covered the horrors of combat, famines, and genocides; that they have nearly died several times, and that as Sarah begins recovering from the physical wounds from a roadside bomb, James has already been home and is on meds recovering from his emotional ones. The question associated with a recovery of this magnitude is, "What happens next?" And what happens after that and after that?

Complete casting has been announced for the New York premiere of Long Lost, written by Donald Margulies and directed by Dan Sullivan. Friday's opening performance of DINNER WITH FRIENDS was a family affair at Everyman, attended by many of the resident company, as well as season-ticket holders and friends of the theatre. The production of the Pulitzer prize winner is stellar; as one comes to expect from the talented team at Everyman. The play, by playwright Donald Margulies, tells the story of two married couples in the wake of divorce.

After first premiering 140 years ago, local Calgary company DIY Theatre is thrilled to present a refreshed version of Isben's classic, with an exciting Alberta twist. A Doll's House: Wild Rose runs from April 5 - 13, 2019 at Motel Theatre in Arts Commons.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright focuses his lens on a multi-generational family, revealing long pent-up frustrations and unrequited love in this ultimately healing narrative. LFT company member Holly Baker-Kreiswirth directs.
