Following a sold out 25th Anniversary World Tour and Greatest Hits release, Grammy nominated multi-platinum pop-rock trio HANSON is beginning their next 25 years with a musical project unmatched in their history, String Theory symphonic tour and album set to launch this summer and continue through Spring 2019.

Tenille Arts signed with Reviver Records this past spring and immediately hit the road meeting Country radio programmers and listeners. Today, Reviver is releasing her first single, “I Hate This,” and it will hit all streaming and online retail outlets on Friday, July 27.

This October, Montalvo Arts Center kicks off its 2018-2019 Carriage House Concert Series with performances by musicians from Hawaii, Scotland, and Ireland.

Atlantic singer/songwriter Forest Blakk has announced his debut EP Minutes, out August 3rd and available for pre-order today along with new track “Tread Lightly.” Deemed an “artist on the rise” by Billboard, Blakk's debut six-track collection also features previously released songs “Love Me” (which has accumulated over 10 million streams worldwide) and “Where I First Found You.”

While appearing on Consequence of Sound's Kyle Meredith With… podcast Friday, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter announced plans to release a new and final album in 2019.

On Saturday, July 7, BLACK MONDAY star Regina Hall returns to the Festival after the success of Girls Trip to debut the first footage from the highly anticipated new SHOWTIME comedy series exclusively for Essence Festival attendees, followed by a moderated Q&A. At the BLACK MONDAY conversation, SHOWTIME will give out 40 tickets to select fans for a meet and greet with Hall at the Fan Zone immediately following her Q&A. The debut season of BLACK MONDAY and season two of THE CHI will premiere on the network in 2019.

It's been a busy week for Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth. First, she hosted the Banff World Media Festival's Rockie Awards, where she ingeniously sang 'Bring Him Home' accompanied by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman of NBC. Then she hosted the Kristin Chenoweth Broadway Bootcamp in her hometown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a cause for good, she couldn't be prouder of. 'If I can be of any inspiration at all to the younger generation and after that and after that and after that, then I feel like I am doing what I'm supposed to do,' she adds. 'And it blesses me, as much as I hope they are blessed.' Chenoweth is preparing for two upcoming concerts in Boone and Asheville and says audiences in Western Carolina can expect to hear an eclectic mix of music. 'I think people can expect a little bit of everything, which with my taste, that seems about right,' she says. 'I'm really living in the world of Don Henley lately, and of course Dolly Parton, that's my favorite, so there will be Don Henley and Dolly Parton, new stuff, not stuff I've done before.' 'I do really enjoy the concert work because I get to sing what I want to sing,' she adds. 'I enjoy taking the audience on a ride.' Chenoweth will be performing at The Schaeffer Center for the Performing Arts on August 4th and at The US Cellular Center in Asheville October 7th.

SHOWTIME has ordered the comedy series BLACK MONDAY, starring and executive produced by Emmy® nominated and Golden Globe® winning actor Don Cheadle – returning to SHOWTIME after a five-season run as star and executive producer of HOUSE OF LIES – with two-time Tony Award® nominee and Grammy®winner Andrew Rannells (Girls) and Regina Hall (Girls Trip) also leading the cast. The series was created by David Caspe (Happy Endings) and Jordan Cahan (My Best Friend's Girl), who will serve as executive producers and showrunners. Emmy nominees Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (Preacher, Superbad), who will also executive produce, directed the pilot. With an 10-episode order, BLACK MONDAY, a co-production between SHOWTIME and Sony Pictures Television Studios, will premiere in 2019. The announcement was made today by David Nevins, President and CEO of Showtime Networks Inc.

The rapid rise of new Reviver Records artist Tenille Arts through the Country music ranks is being felt both in Canada and the U.S., as she took home all five awards for which she was nominated from the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Saturday night.

Legendary singer and 2016 Kennedy Center Honoree Mavis Staples will headline a special evening for the 2018 Kennedy Center Spring Gala on Sunday, May 6, 2018, in the Concert Hall. An Evening with Mavis Staples and Special Guests pairs Staples with some of her most notable collaborators: singer-songwriter Neko Case, multi-instrumentalist Bruce Hornsby, and bluegrass-county artist Alison Krauss. Together, they will lead guests through Staples's 60-plus year catalog of genre-defying contributions to American music, including many seminal works that have woven her into the very fabric of gospel, soul, folk pop, R&B, Hip Hop, blues, and rock. The event is chaired by Frances and Craig Lindner.

On April 18, the Recording Academy will celebrate 20 years of advocacy in Washington, D.C., by honoring Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook of three-time GRAMMY winners Little Big Town at the annual GRAMMYs on the Hill Awards. Little Big Town's contributions to the music industry align with some of the Recording Academy's key advocacy and organizational causes, including advocating for music education and supporting MusiCares, a charity founded by the Academy that provides a safety net of support for the music community. The evening will also feature a performance by the band.
