The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 14 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

Actress and DANCING WITH THE STARS winner Rumer Willis made her Broadway debut as 'Roxie Hart' in Broadway's Chicago just last week. She will now play a 6-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St., NYC) through Sunday, November 1, 2015. Broadway in Bryan Park continued its 2015 program on Thursday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will continue its 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. Thursday's line-up will include performances from the casts of CHICAGO (Brandy Norwood, Donna Marie Asbury, NaTasha Yvette Williams, David Bushman, Andrew Fitch, Kelcy Ann Griffin, Denny Paschall, Angel Reda, Michael Scirrotto, Tonya Wathen, Lara Seibert Young), Finding Neverland (Laura Michelle Kelly, Casey Butler, Jackson Demott Hill, Alex Dreier, Eli Tokash), SISTAS: The Musical (Emilie Battle, Tanesha Gary, Jennifer Fouche, Amy Goldberger, Robyn Payne), MAMMA MIA!, and 39 Steps (Arnie Burton, Billy Carter, Robert Petkoff, Brittany Vicars). 

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held just yesterday in Shubert Alley, hosted by Darren Criss who is currently playing Hedwig in the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, Hedwig and the Angry Inch. To add to the festivities leading up to the Tony Awards, the free outdoor concert in the heart of the Theatre District celebrated Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 20 new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a 12-piece live orchestra, including many of this year's 2015 Tony Award - nominated plays and musicals! The Broadway company of the Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago just welcomed Grammy Award-winner Brandy Norwood, who made her Broadway debut in the role of Roxie Hart. Jennifer Nettles and Carly Hughes just joined the Broadway company of Chicago in the starring roles of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly for a limited eight-week engagement -- where they will continue through Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.).
