Moggie will star in the world premiere of Lucy Thurber's play BOTTOM OF THE WORLD directed by Caitriona McLaughlin.

Universal Republic will release Lauren Pritchard's debut album, Wasted in Jackson, on October 26th. Piven Theatre Workshop closes its 2009-10 season with the Chicago premiere of Late: A Cowboy Song, written by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Jessica Thebus and featuring Polly Noonan. The production will run July 24 - August 29, 2010 at Piven Theatre Workshop, 927 Noyes Street. Press opening is Monday, July 26, 2010 at 7:30PM.

Marin Theatre Company announces the West Coast premiere of Happy Now? by British playwright Lucinda Coxon. Happy Now? received rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic in London and New York. Jasson Minadakis directs Happy Now? in the Boyer Theatre November 11 through December 5, 2010. Opening night is November 16.

Lindsay Posner directs Richard Bean's new stage version of David Mamet's film, House of Games previewing from 9 September and running until 6 November, with press night on 16 September. Designs are by Peter McKintosh with lighting by Paul Pyant and music by Django Bates. House of Games is sponsored by Aspen.

From September 16-25, the Independent Drama Society presents a punk-rock update of Shakespeare's ROMEO AND JULIET, continuing its a season of love and loathing.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson), Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel announced the opening date today for the summer's biggest hit, Daniel Sullivan's critically acclaimed production of THE MERCHANT OF VENICE. Al Pacino will reprise his celebrated performance as Shylock on Broadway for 78 performances only, beginning Tuesday, October 19 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44th Street) and running through Sunday, January 9. Opening Night will be Sunday, November 7 at 6:45 p.m.
