The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with TBS, announced today the addition of more than 100 shows to its 2018 line-up. The festival runs from November 5th through November 11th at some of New York City's most iconic venues including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, among others.

The 15th Annual New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in partnership with TBS, today announces its line-up of comedians for the highly anticipated week-long laugh fest that takes place November 5th through November 11th.  Expanding to seven days this year, the NYCF will present more than 200 comedians in more than 100 shows at some of New York City's most prestigious venues.

Comedy Central builds on its success of last year's Up Nextshowcase at Clusterfest, featuring the network's rising stars, by including another stand-up showcase and adding a variety showcase. The weekend will highlight over 20 comedians with two separate and distinct stand-up showcases taking place on Friday, June 1, hosted by Chris Redd with special guest Tim Dillon and Saturday, June 2, hosted by Jullian McCollough with special guest Mark Normand; and a brand new variety showcase taking place on Sunday, June 3, hosted by Matthew Broussard. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix nabbed worldwide rights excluding China to the animated film Next Gen in a deal in the $30 million range. It also marks Netflix's first deal at Cannes after losing out to Focus Features for the opening night film Everybody Knows.

According to Deadline, Jeffrey Tambor is set to appear on the upcoming fifth season of the comedy hit ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT when it returns on Netflix. Tambor recently exited the Amazon original series TRANSPARENT amid sexual harassment claims. The allegations have come from two members of the shows family.
