Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) presents William Shakespeare's Timon of Athens, a co-production with Shakespeare Theatre Company in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Director Simon Godwin (Measure for Measure) returns to TFANA with a reimagining of his vibrant staging of Timon of Athens, which premiered at the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2018 - the first time the play had been staged with a female lead.
Kelley Curran Joins the Company of MOTHER OF THE MAID

The Public Theater has announced an addition to the company of the New York premiere of MOTHER OF THE MAID, written by Emmy Award winner Jane Anderson. Kelley Curran joins the company as Lady of the Court beginning Friday, October 26, stepping in for Kate Jennings Grant who is departing the lauded production due to a scheduling conflict.

The Public Theater's Mother of the Maid, written by Emmy Award winner Jane Anderson, officially opened last night, October 17. Directed by Emmy Award nominee Matthew Penn, the riveting new play was initially extended through Sunday, December 2 and has been extended a final three weeks through Sunday, December 23.

Due to the inclement weather, tonight's performance of Ring Twice for Miranda, previously scheduled for Tuesday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m., at New York City Center Stage II, has been cancelled. Performances are expected to resume on Wednesday, March 15 at 2:30 p.m.
