St. Ann's Warehouse continues its rich history of partnering with the UK's foremost theaters and theater makers, presenting the American Premiere of the National Theatre/Headlong production of Duncan Macmillan's People, Places & Things. Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the production was one of last season's must-see shows in the West End, following a hugely successful run at the National. Casting is now complete for the American Premiere at St. Ann's.
EgoPo Classic Theater Announces Cast of LYDIE BREEZE TRILOGY

EgoPo Classic Theater celebrates its 25th Anniversary with the 2017-18 John Guare Festival. As the centerpiece of the season, the company is presenting the world premiere of Guare's Lydie Breeze Trilogy. This three-part American epic can be experienced in three ways: as a three-part series spread over three months, a three-night marathon, or a one-day (nine-hour) marathon with built in meal breaks. The performances of these modern American classics begin January 31, 2018 with Part I, and will run through May 6, 2018. All performances of the Lydie Breeze Trilogy will be held at Christ Church Neighborhood House, 20 N. American Street. The YALE INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC THEATRE (Mark Brokaw, Artistic Director) announces the creative teams and casting for the two original book musicals, COWBOY BOB, created by Molly Beach Murphy, Jeanna Phillips, and Annie Tippe, book by Molly Beach Murphy, music and lyrics by Jeanna Phillips; and GUMBO, music by Brett Macias and book and lyrics by Christina Quintana, conceived by Brett Macias and Christina Quintana, which are being developed in an intensive two-week summer lab at Yale School of Drama, June 13-24. Scott Frankel is the Artistic Advisor, and Catherine Sheehy is the resident Dramaturg for this year's Institute, which culminates with open rehearsal readings of each project, presented as part of New Haven's International Festival of Arts & Ideas on June 23 and 24.

LUMBERYARD Contemporary Performing Arts will present the world premiere of Articles of Faith, a new, autobiographical performance work by the acclaimed interdisciplinary theater artist Cynthia Hopkins, June 15-17 at The Kitchen, as part of the second annual LUMBERYARD in the City festival. Hopkins created Articles of Faith in collaboration with designer Jeff Sugg after the destruction of her home, work studio, records and materials in a May 2015 fire.
