Australia's very own TAP DOGS first appeared at the Sydney Festival in 1995. The tapping feet of this internationally acclaimed dance sensation has now reverberated around the world in 330 cities; 37 countries, and been seen by more than 11 million people. Now they are coming home - stronger, faster, louder and more outrageous than ever to tour Australia from July to August 2012. The 2012 winter tour commences in Canberra 3 to 8 July; then Newcastle 10 to 15 July; followed by Adelaide 17 to 22 July, Hobart 16 to 18 August, Albury 21 to 23 August and finally Wollongong 24 & 25 August.

The honorees of the Broadway League Awards, honoring excellence and achievement for Touring Broadway, were hosted today by George Hamilton during the Broadway League's 2011 Spring Road Conference. First presented in 1992, the Broadway League Awards recognize the contributions of those who have displayed exemplary service to the Broadway industry and are considered innovators of their craft.

KING KONG - Live on Stage is authorized by the estate of Merian C. Cooper (Creator of KING KONG and director of the 1933 film).

On March 16, it was announced that two promient theater producers, one from London's famed Royal Court Theatre and one from Broadway and Broadway Across America have been named to new leadership posts at American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) by Artistic Director/CEO Diane Paulus. Last fall, Paulus created two new senior level positions; named to the new posts are Diane Borger as Producer and Tiffani Gavin as Director of Finance and Administration.

John Gore, Owner and CEO of Key Brand Entertainment Inc. announced today that Miles C. Wilkin has been named CEO of Broadway Across America and will assume the position immediately. Broadway Across America is owned and operated by Key Brand Entertainment. Mr. Wilkin, a pioneer of the theatrical touring industry in the United States, will be at the helm of Broadway Across America, the premiere producer and presenter of live theatrical events in the United States and Canada.

Thomas Warner, who joined the Center in 1999, two years before its opening, has been named Vice President of Programming. Warner who first served as Program Manager, then as Director of Programming, will be responsible for the 'Kimmel Center Presents' series in the Kimmel Center and the Academy of Music-ranging across performance genres including classical, dance, jazz, world and popular entertainment. Warner will also be responsible for 'Free at the Kimmel,' a popular series of programs in Commonwealth Plaza open to the public free of charge.
