Now playing through June 16 at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Street, features  book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music and lyrics by David Bryan and  is directed by Daryl D.  Brooks, assistant directed and choreographed by Christopher Carter, music directed by Jermaine Hill and assistant choreographed by Reneisha Jenkins.

Today, Wayne Kramer, leader of Detroit's proto-punk/hard rock band MC5, announces 15 concerts and 4 summer festivals for Kick Out the Jams: The 50th Anniversary Tour. MC50 includes guitarist Kim Thayil, drummers Brendan Canty and Matt Cameron, bassists Dug Pinnick and super producer Don Was, and 6'7” powerhouse frontman Marcus Durant. With it, Kramer will be celebrating the landmark anniversary of the MC5's incendiary debut album Kick Out the Jams as well as the release of his memoir The Hard Stuff: Dope, Crime, the MC5, and My Life of Impossibilities, to be published August 16th by Faber & Faber in UK.

After 18 years of hosting some of music and entertainment's most revered names, B.B. King Blues Club & Grill has announced its final run of shows in its current Times Square location (237 W 42nd St). Due to escalating rent, the historic venue and supper club is forced to close its doors with a final performance on April 29, 2018. B.B. King Blues Club is in the process of selecting a new location in Manhattan to relocate the venue.

On March 30, George Thorogood & The Destroyers' Bad To The Bone and Born To Be Bad albums, long out of print on vinyl, and the band's Greatest Hits: 30 Years Of Rockcollection, never before available on vinyl, will be released in special vinyl LP editions via Capitol/UMe.
