Emmy Award-winning actress Margo Martindale will join the cast for the seventh season of CBS's THE GOOD WIFE in a recurring role

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join the critically acclaimed drama THE GOOD WIFE as a series regular during the show's upcoming seventh season.

This past week The Public Theater celerbrated their 2015 Summer Gala, which included a special performance of the free Shakespeare in the Park production of THE TEMPEST, featuring a cast that included Sam Waterston and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and directed by Michael Greif. The summer gala also honored Bernard Spitzer (1924-2014) and Anna Spitzer for their extraordinary support over several years. The 2015 Public Theater summer gala featured appearances by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Laura Benanti, Sandra Oh, Peter Dinklage, Alan Rickman, Jane Lynch and many more.

Last night HBO hosted the premiere of LARRY KRAMER IN LOVE & ANGER, airing June 29 at 9pm, at the Time Warner Center. In attendance to support both Kramer and the documentary were stars of stage and screen including Mark Ruffalo and Joe Mantello, both of whom starred in THE NORMAL HEART (on HBO and Broadway, respectively) as Ned Weeks, the character that Kramer based on himself. Documentary director Jean Carlomusto, Christine Baranski, Kelly Bishop, Cherry Jones, Stephen Spinella, and President of HBO Documentary Films, Sheila Nevins were also in attendance to screen the film and present Larry with a cake celebrating his upcoming 80th birthday on June 25. The Women's Division of Albert Einstein College of Medicine hosted its 61st Annual Spirit of Achievement Luncheon on Tuesday, May 19th at the Rainbow Room, honoring Candice Bergen, Renee Fleming and Einstein faculty members Daphne T. Hsu, M.D., and Robert H. Pass, M.D. Both are leading pediatric heart specialists at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, the pediatric division of Einstein's University hospital. The event benefited cancer research by leading scientists at Einstein's Albert Einstein Cancer Center. Scroll down for photos!

On May 21, Brooklyn-based band Sky-Pony (led by Tony nominee Lauren Worsham) will hit the stage at club 42W, on a bill with The Deafening (led by Tony winner Lena Hall) and Australian pop star Brendan Maclean. Also appearing: special guests Grace McLean and Emmy winner Lance Horne. It's part of the Broadway the Hardway series, presented by Jacob Langfelder, which showcases rock groups with Broadway connections.

Jacob Langfelder presents Broadway the Hardway's Spring Break Festival featuring SKY-PONY with Special Guest Grace McLean, THE DEAFENING, and BRENDAN MACLEAN with Emmy Winner Lance Horne. The concert will be presented at 42West. The concert takes place Thursday, May 21st, 2015 beginning at 7pm and will feature original video graphics mapped on New York City's largest indoor LED wall.
