The Hip Hop Nutcracker, the contemporary re-imagining of the magical ballet returns to the Fox Theatre on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 6:30 p.m.

MCC Theater - which this fall celebrates its 30th Anniversary Season as one of New York's leading Off-Broadway theater companies - has announced the 2016 PlayLabs reading series, which will feature new works in development by playwrights Jocelyn Bioh, MCC Youth Company alum Xavier Galva, Ted Malawer, and Eric Micha Holmes.

ArtsWest Artistic Director Mathew Wright has announced his second season, running September 2016 through July 2017. Opening with acclaimed dramatist Terrence McNally's MOTHERS AND SONS, the six production season will include the magical story telling of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER based on the novel by Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson; an Olivier Award winning new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's GHOSTS; a piercing glimpse into the teen-age world in Kirsten Greenidge's MILK LIKE SUGAR; Byrony Lavery's unflinching drama FROZEN; and the Stephen Sondheim musical thriller SWEENEY TODD.

Huntington Theatre Company, the 2013 recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award and Boston magazine's Best Theatre of 2013 and 2014, announces that playwright Bryony Lavery's acclaimed adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House will complete its 2016-2017 Season. MCC Theater announced today that it will break ground on its first permanent home on March 22, 2016. Daniel Evans today announces his final season as Sheffield Theatres' Artistic Director, including the eagerly anticipated news of the Crucible's Christmas show, Irving Berlin's whip-cracking musical Annie Get Your Gun.
