BroadwayWorld has just learned that the benefit evening of 'BRIDGING THE GAP AND OTHER SHORT PLAYS BY WESLEY TAYLOR' has sold out. The event will be presented as an evening of readings of a collection of six new short plays by actor and playwright WESLEY TAYLORto benefit The Actors Fund. The one-night-only event is set for Monday, October 26, 2015 at 7:30 pm at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

Deadline reports that Elisabeth Moss, who recently received a Tony nomination for her starring role in Broadway's THE HEIDI CHORNICLES, has signed on to the cast of THE BLEEDER.

To mark the occasion of Jefferson Mays' 6,000th death in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, the production held a funeral procession down West 48th Street, as cast members and fans, all dressed in mourning attire, followed Mr. Mays, lying in state inside a glass-sided horse-drawn hearse, to the Walter Kerr Theatre stage door. Besides giving us ridiculously talented creators, entertainment, reason to live, etc., one great dynamic of our Broadway community is that we have a very active presence on Twitter. Broadway actors Bryce Pinkham, who recently resumed his Tony-nominated role in the Tony award-winning musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, and Lucas Caleb Rooney, who recently starred in Classic Stage Company's production of Doctor Faustus, have secured a home for their non-profit organization, Zara Aina, in Madagascar.?

Elisabeth Moss is one of my favorite actresses on television. But as the theatre community does with any famous person who has stepped even a toe on the stage, we claim Moss as our own.

It's Bryce Pinkham who usually murders the opposition in the Broadway hit A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, but yesterday afternoon the New York Yankees only needed his cheers to attain dominance over the Baltimore Orioles.  Bryce and his girlfriend, actress Emily Young, were in The Boss's  Box in Yankee Stadium with some other theatre professionals as Alex Rodriguez homered and the Yankees won 8-6.

Broadway actors Lucas Caleb Rooney, fresh off of a run in Classic Stage Company's production of Doctor Faustus, and Bryce Pinkham, after a run of The Heidi Chronicles and before returning to his Tony-nominated role in the Tony award-winning musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, have recently returned from Madagascar, where they worked to secure a permanent home for their non-profit organization, Zara Aina.  Also joining them in Madagascar was puppeteer, Annie Worden.

A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER just welcomed back original Broadway cast member, Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham, to the 2014 Best Musical last night, July 28, as 'Monty Navarro'. Pinkham departed the production earlier this year, joining Elisabeth Moss and Jason Biggsin the short-lived Broadway revival of Wendy Wasserstein's THE HEIDI CHRONICLES.
