The LA Phil's 2015/16 Songbook Series continues with Brian Stokes Mitchell at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 8:00 PM. The Tony®-winning singer, actor, arranger and musician joins long-time pianist and collaborator,Tedd Firth, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by conductor Kevin Stites, for 'In Character,' an evening of Broadway tunes filled with beauty, joy, whimsy, romance, and Stokes' signature, inspired vocal interpretations. Expanding on his most recent album, Simply Broadway (which USA Todaydeemed as 'one of the best albums of 2012'), Stokes will perform such Broadway classics as 'I, Don Quixote,' 'Feeling Good,' 'Wheels of a Dream' and 'It Ain't Necessarily So,' among many others.

Poway OnStage is elated to participate as a featured stop in the Upright & Grand Piano Festival presented by The San Diego Symphony on January 15th, 2016 at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts (15498 Espola Rd Poway, California). On the heels of winning the Golden Globe for Best TV Drama, MR. ROBOT, the most buzzed-about show of 2015, is releasing its first season Blu-ray/DVD on Tuesday, January 12th. The show, a trippy look into the mind of an unstable hacker anarchist hell-bent on leveling the financial playing field, received both critical and public acclaim when it debuted in June. Showrunner Sam Esmail created a world in which nothing was what it seems, prompting the online intelligentsia to speculate about what was actually going on.
