Roundabout Theatre Company and BroadwayHD, alongside co-founders and executive producers Bonnie Comley and Stewart F. Lane, broke the Guinness World Record for the first Broadway show to be live streamed for Roundabout's production of 'She Loves Me' on June 30, 2016.

Online theater streaming service BroadwayHD will live stream The Public Theater's 'THE GABRIELS: Election Year in the Life of One Family,' written and directed by Richard Nelson. The critically acclaimed three-play cycle is currently touring internationally and will return to The Public Theater on March 22-24 for a special live stream mini-series. The performances will stream live on BroadwayHD.com each day at 7:50 p.m. ET.

Geffen Playhouse and online theater streaming service BroadwayHD today announced a partnership to present select live and captured-live productions from the Los Angeles theater to BroadwayHD subscribers. The Geffen's current production of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Long Day's Journey Into Night, starring Jane Kaczmarek and Alfred Molina, will be the first play presented under the partnership. It marks BroadwayHD's first live stream from a U.S. theater outside of New York City.

Captured live on 14 high-definition cameras at Roundabout's Studio 54. 'Holiday Inn' will be available to watch on BroadwayHD.com on Saturday, January 14 at 8 p.m. ET. Theater Close-Up, the unique collaboration between THIRTEEN and the large community of New York City area non-profit Off-Broadway theaters, will present Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Buried Child in Scott Elliott's acclaimed production from The New Group, Monday, November 28 at 9 p.m. on THIRTEEN, with an encore presentation today, December 2 at 3:30 a.m. The play will also air Sunday, December 18 at 10 p.m. on WLIW21. Actress Blythe Danner hosts the broadcast.

Last night, BroadwayHD had an advanced screening of the final film in New York City, and BroadwayWorld had a chance to talk to some of the stars of the production, as well as the producers behind BroadwayHD, about how they felt about the finished product.
