The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) has announced that Zachary Levi ('Chuck') and Megan Hilty ('Smash') will host the upcoming 82nd Annual Drama League Awards on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in the Broadway Ballroom (1535 Broadway)beginning at 11:30 a.m. Both Levi and Hilty are celebrated this season for their acclaimed performances in the Roundabout Theatre Company productions of She Loves Me and Noises Off, respectively.

Following The New Group's BURIED CHILD live stream this past Wednesday, BroadwayHD will present Signature Theatre's special return engagement of OLD HATS, created and performed by Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music and lyrics by and featuring Shaina Taub, and directed by Tina Landau, this Saturday, April 2, at 8:00 PM EDT.

It was 20 years ago when Sarah Jessica Parker starred Off-Broadway in A.R. Gurney's off-beat comedy about a man and his dog, SLYVIA. Just last night her hubby Matthew Broderick had the honor of opening in SLYVIA on Broadway, joined by Annaleigh Ashford as Sylvia, with Julie White and Robert Sella. Death is but the next great adventure for Broadway's A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. BroadwayWorld learned this evening that the Tony Award-winning Best Musical will play its final performance on the Great White Way on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Producer Joey Parnes announced the news today. The musical's record-breaking run at the Walter Kerr Theatre will have played nearly 1,000 performances on Broadway, and its Tony Award-winning star, Jefferson Mays, will have died more than 6,000 deaths as various members of the illfated D'Ysquith family.

Judy Blazer joins the cast of the Tony Award winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, in the role of 'Miss Shingle' tonight, June 30.

It was announced today that Judy Blazer will join the cast of the Tony Award winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, in the role of Miss Shingle.  She will begin performances on Tuesday, June 30.  Carole Shelley, who currently fills the role, will play her final performance on Sunday, June 28.

The 81st Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon was held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in the Broadway Ballroom (1535 Broadway) on Friday, May 15, 2015 where the winners were announced. The ceremony was hosted by Hand To God star, Steven Boyer and Tyrone. Awards were presented by Zachary Quinto and Neil Patrick Harris.
