Following its critically acclaimed sell-out at Liverpool Theatre Festival and Northern tour, Swan Song, a revised comedy by acclaimed playwright Jonathan Harvey, is heading to London this month for one week only.  

Paul Taylor-Mills has been appointed artistic director of the Other Palace. Taylor-Mills will be returning to the venue that he ran when it was owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber. He left in 2018.

Heathers the Musical – the wickedly funny and high-octane rock musical returns to its original London home at The Other Palace, opening on 25 November 2021, for a season until 20 February 2022.

Today, Bill Kenwright Ltd, the company founded by West End and Broadway theatre producer and director Bill Kenwright, is pleased to confirm their purchase of The Other Palace Theatre from Andrew Lloyd Webber's LW Theatres.

Heathers the Musical arrives in Milton Keynes Theatre this November as part of the musical's first ever UK and Ireland tour.

Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers has returned to our stages. The moving story follows two brothers born in Liverpool who are separated at birth, destined to lead very different, only to meet again with tragic consequences. Now in its 30th year, the most recent UK tour is currently playing the King’s Theatre in Glasgow.

Bill Kenwright’s Classic Thriller Theatre Company continues with its latest chilling whodunit, the creepy comedy thriller The Cat and the Canary. Following its acclaimed opening in Windsor in January 2020 and highly successful spring tour, the production returns to complete its Autumn tour, which was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  

In celebration of the musicals' relaunch, Lyn Paul returns for her farewell tour in the iconic role of Mrs Johnstone, which she first made her own in London's West End. 

Gaddas & Clark will initially produce small, power-packed productions based on classic books, finding new ways to tell these well-known stories with fresh interpretations and unexpected  twists. They are already collaborating with industry-leading figures to develop this work.  

The new season opens on Friday, 27 August when favourite funnyman Alan Carr comes to Chester to try out new material on the city's comedy fans. The evening will also include a support act.

Be More Chill has announced two new cast members for the final 5 weeks in its strictly limited 10 week run at The Shaftesbury Theatre; Grace Mouat [& Juliet, SIX the Musical] will play Chloe Valentine and Mountview graduate Nathania Ong, making her professional debut, will play Jenna Rolan.

The hottest Hamlet on the scene is an octogenarian. But Ian McKellen’s latest stage appearance in Windsor is far from being a geriatric production. In the run up to their opening, McKellen and the company described it as “age blind”, almost an experiment to see how the visual aspect of a Shakespeare play impacts the content. The resulting answer is difficult to pin down. Hamlet’s perceived age changes the dynamics. But also, surprisingly, it ultimately doesn’t matter much.
