SHOWTIME is bringing fans more DESUS & MERO, expanding the show to two nights a week for a special summer run. The network's first-ever late-night talk show will air two nights a week starting Monday May 6 and will air Monday and Thursday nights at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT all summer long, up until its August hiatus beginning Monday, August 5. DESUS & MERO features the duo chatting with guests at the intersection of pop culture, sports, music, politics and more, as well as giving their take on the day's hot topics in their signature style in front of a small live studio audience from New York City.

The Peabody Board of Jurors revealed today nine Entertainment winners and a Children's winner for programs released in 2018. The honorees include a children's superhero saga focused on empathy; darkly comic immersions into the male and female killer mind; welcomed reformulations and expansions of standup comedy and political entertainment shows; and expansive creativity in a show that might best be described as Afro-surrealism meets Parliament Funkadelic.

IFC Renews DOCUMENTARY NOW

IFC announced today that it has renewed Documentary Now!, for a 53rd season. The series is produced by Broadway Video and created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, Rhys Thomas and executive produced by Lorne Michaels. IFC has ordered 7 episodes for the upcoming season, however no air date has been announced because Fred, Bill and Seth are super busy.

AMC Networks announced today the premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including second seasons of AMC's mystic modern-day fable Lodge 49 and horror-infused anthology The Terror: Infamy, IFC's new musical variety sketch comedy Sherman's Showcase and SundanceTV's Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter, quirky comedy Rosehaven Season 3 and the new true crime thriller No One Saw A Thing.

John Mulaney was a guest on last night's episode of Conan. During the interview, Conan brings up Mulaney's famous musical SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE sketches. Conan asks if 'Diner Lobster' and 'Bodega Bathroom' are part of a trilogy of musical sketches, and if audiences should be expecting a third the next time he hosts. Mulaney replies, 'I'm not sure what the next would be, I think it might be the G train.'

John Mulaney Wants to Write a Broadway Musical and Host the Tonys

During an interview with Vulture, John Mulaney discussed his return to SNL, which featured the follow-up musical sketch to the famous 'Diner Lobster,' which was a 'Les Miserables' song parody sketch. The sequel sketch, 'Bodega Bathroom' featured musical spoofs of songs from 'Rent', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', to name a few. Mulaney also recently starred in the 'Company' parody episode of 'Documentary Now!'
