America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, Music Mountain continues their 84th season with a weekend of dancing and classical music. The Dover String Quartet brings their youthful enthusiasm to Brahms and Mozart with clarinetist AlexanderFiterstein today, July 28th (3PM). This weekend's concerts are a fine example of the diversity of musicians that Music Mountain has showcased this summer; introducing audiences, young and old, to chamber, jazz, and country music. The summer tradition continues through September 8th.

On Friday July 26 and Saturday July 27 Andy DiMino brought his spot-on tribute to Dean Martin to the Encore Dinner Theatre and Club in Tustin, accompanied by a heavenly 12-piece orchestra. A lifelong musician, once a gondolier at the Venetian in Las Vegas, DiMino is a stunningly handsome Italian, who has the laid-back presence and easy-going vocal style of the late great Martin...and that's no easy task. To be as relaxed with an audience as you swing and sway to these all-time favorite tunes is in itself quite an art. DiMino captures the cool and collected, sophisticated, and sardonic Martin to the letter.

New York City becomes host to the Empire Dance Championships, an inaugural world-class dancesport competition and showcase of ballroom and latin dancers from North America and around the world, to be held at the Conrad New York hotel in lower Manhattan, with a formal Grand Opening Gala event on Wednesday evening, Aug. 7 and the dance competitions beginning Thursday morning, Aug. 8 through Saturday evening, Aug. 10.

Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing - This summer marks the 25th Anniversary season of Midsummer Night Swing. Midsummer Night Swing takes place Tuesdays through Saturdays, today, June 25-July 13, on the elevated dance floor in Damrosch Park on West 62nd Street, between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center has announced the July and August lineup for Family Films with screenings of several of the most beloved Hollywood musical's of 40s and 50s starring classic silver screen icons, led by Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland!

The 39th Annual Jazz Record Collectors Bash will be held today, June 21-22, 2013 at the Hilton Woodbridge Iselin, NJ, featuring 78s, LPs, CDs & memorabilia. The Hilton Woodbridge is located at 120 Wood Avenue South Iselin, NJ (www.hiltonwoodbridge.com).

Over 120 performances will be held on stage between July 2013 and June 2014. Highlights include a diverse theatre series featuring Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Tony-nominated BRING IT ON, Tony-Winning MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, ROCK OF AGES and Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT; contemporary performers such as Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, Michael W. For the third year in a row, Mayor Timothy Dougherty and the Town of Morristown will host a free all day concert on the Green on Saturday, August 17th. The annual Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival runs from noon until 10:00 p.m.and features legendary jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli with guitar partners Frank Vignola and Ed Laub, young blues sensation Quinn Sullivan, the Jazz Lobsters Big Band, Rob Paparozzi and the Hudson River Rats and guitar master Johnny A.

The Deer Valley Music Festival, summer home of Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, is celebrating ten years of music in the mountains with a festival lineup that highlights the diversity of the orchestra and its audience. The 2013 Festival features seventeen performances from June 29 to August 10 at venues in Park City, Utah, including ten performances at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheatre which was recently highlighted by CNN as one of eight 'amazing' outdoor concert venues. The first three Festival events will take place on June 29, July 5 and July 6.

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, has announced that The Rossano Sportiello Trio will debut at the Cafe Carlyle during their two week engagement running tonight, June 11 and June 22. The Trio will be performing their program, The Smiling Piano: A Tribute To The Artistry Of Jazz Piano Icon George Shearing.

NJTV, New Jersey's public television network, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announced the production of a new music television series, American Songbook at NJPAC, taped before a live audience at the Arts Center and airing on NJTV and WNET this fall.

BLUES IN THE NIGHT uses the great blues and jazz songs of the 1920s and 30s to explore the lives of three women and a saloon singer in a 'cheap hotel' during the course of a long memory-filled evening. The 26 songs celebrate the blues melodies of Bessie Smith, Jimmy Cox, Duke Ellington, Alberta Hunter and songs by Harold Arlen, Benny Goodman, Andy Razaf, Johnny Mercer and others.
