Schimmel Center at Pace University concludes its 2018-19 Cabaret Series with an evening of standards and musical theater selections composed by women titled Baby, Dream Your Dream: The Great Women Songwriters on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 7:30pm.

Pint of Wine Theatre Company, an innovative theatre company providing opportunities for artists, technicians and practitioners to challenge the conventions on how theatre should be presented, is excited to announce its full 2019 season: the UK premiere of Michael John LaChiusa's Queen of the Mist in April at the Jack Studio Theatre, a full production of the iconic Mame in December at the Cockpit Theatre, a new song and dance production with multi-disciplinary artist Lemington Ridley in the Autumn and a four night cabaret festival in June at the Bussey Building.

Producer Ken Davenport (Once on This Island, Spring Awakening) has obtained the Broadway stage rights to the life story of the great American singer, songwriter, actor and activist, Harry Belafonte.

On Jan 26th, 2019 NEWSical The Musical, the 10th longest running Off-Broadway show and 3rd longest running musical revue in NY history, will be celebrating its 3000th performance at Theatre Row.  To celebrate the milestone the show will be receiving a proclamation from Speaker of the City Council, Corey Johnson, as well as a proclamation from the New York State Assembly.

New York City drag legend Lady Bunny is set to bring her holiday show The Stockings Were Hung to Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood for one performance only on Thursday, December 20, at 8:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents.

Then there were stints directing Bette Midler, collaborating on Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly and Whoop-Dee-Doo, and shepherding Bea Arthur's one woman show to Broadway!

It is the 40th anniversary of the airing of the Star Wars Holiday Special! And time, once again, at The Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women for the annual viewing of Cherry's favorite TV show. This year, George Lucas joins us (played by guest star Andy Ross). He claims he is there because, as he has often said, 'If I had the time and a sledgehammer, I would track down every copy of that show and smash it.' But for someone who hates it so much, he seems to revel in singing all the songs! Could it be that he secretly loves the show as much as Cherry does?

Tickets for the Canadian premiere of Sting's acclaimed musical The Last Ship will go on public sale Monday November 12. Presented by David Mirvish and produced by Karl Sydow and Kathryn Schenker, the limited six-week engagement runs February 9 through March 24, 2019 at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre.

She will perform alongside Pretty Yende in the role of Marie, and Javier Camarena as Tonio. Stephanie Blythe will play the Marquise of Berkenfield, with Alessandro Corbelli and Maurizio Muraro sharing the role of Sergeant Sulpice. Laurent Pelly's staging will be conducted by Enrique Mazzola.

Playwright/director Michael Gaucher and Bitter Bitch Productions bring a live edition of the beloved sitcom to the stage at Club Cafe. DIRTY SECRETS: A GOLDEN GIRLS LOST EPISODE is your chance to get up close and personal with the other Fab Four in Gaucher's original story, complete with song, dance, and 1980s commercials.
