Silk Road Theatre Project Presents YELLOW FACE, Closes 7/31

Yellow Face, the nationally-acclaimed play by Tony Award winning playwright David Henry Hwang, will close at Silk Road Theatre Project (SRTP), produced in association with the Goodman Theatre, on July 17. Yellow Face, directed by Steve Scott, plays in Pierce Hall at The Historic Chicago Temple Building, 77 W. Washington St, Chicago.

Producers Ben Sprecher and Louise Forlenza, in association with Tony Fusco and Larry Feinman, and by special arrangement with/and based on the Vereinigte Buhnen Wien GmbH production, announced that the new musical REBECCA, based on the classic novel by Daphne du Maurier novel, will open on Broadway Sunday, April 22 at a Shubert theater to be announced. Previews will begin Tuesday, March 27. Sierra Boggess (currently starring in Master Class, The Little Mermaid, Love Never Dies) is in negotiations to play the role of 'I.'

According to Deadline.com, Broadway veterans Frank Langella and Liev Schreiber are set to star in Park Pictures Features' 'Robot & Frank.' The film will be directed by Jake Schreier and is currently filming in New York. Starring alongside Schreiber and Langella are Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, and Jeremy Strong.

Theodore Mann and Paul Libin, on behalf of Circle in the Square Theatre, paid tribute to playwright Eugene O'Neill on Saturday with a special plaque placed on the former site of the Golden Swan (also known as the Hell Hole), one of O'Neill's inspirations for Harry Hope's saloon in 'The Iceman Cometh.'
