Songwriters Hall of Fame member Steve Dorff will be appearing at The Triad Theatre in New York City on June 11, performing many of his best-loved hits and sharing the fascinating stories behind them. Dorff's career spans five decades with over 400 songs and numerous No. 1 hits recorded by legendary artists such as Barbra Streisand ('Higher Ground'), Celine Dion ('Miracle'), Anne Murray ('I Just Fall in Love Again'), Kenny Rogers ('Through the Years'), George Strait ('I Cross My Heart'), Eddie Rabbitt ('Every Which Way But Loose'), and countless others.

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and CBC are thrilled to announce legendary singer-songwriter Corey Hart as the 2019 inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.  Hart, who has sold over 16 million albums worldwide, will be officially inducted into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame during The 2019 JUNO Awards on Sunday, March 17. To celebrate his induction, Hart will take the stage at Budweiser Gardens to perform on live television for the first time in over 20 years. An overflow audience for the Victoria Shaw concert got a surprise as Victoria called up two of her friends who were in the audience……..Desmond Child, and then Kristin Chenoweth each sang a number. Even Jim Caruso who has hosted every famous person on the planet whipped out his cell phone camera for this one.

A new musical is being developed by a Nova Scotian writing team that will feature songs originally made famous by Anne Murray, the Grammy-award-winning singer from Springhill, Nova Scotia. The show just underwent a 2-week developmental workshop in Halifax with an 11-member cast of actors. The workshop culminated in a staged reading presentation at the Bella Rose Arts Centre this past Friday.
