The beloved award-winning actress Tovah Feldshuh and actress Mamie Gummer will be among those on hand to salute playwright Lindsey Ferrentino when she receives the 2016 Kesselring Prize for Playwriting on Monday, Nov. 14 at 7 pm at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South). 

Trish Santini, Peter Flynn and Frank Butler announced today the formation of their new company Mainspring Arts Cooperative (MAC), a not-for-profit organization that will produce and present productions that can tour regional theaters nationwide.

A world-premiere play, Among the Dead by Hansol Jung; a world-premiere musical by Michi Barall, Paul Lieber, and Matt Park, PEER GYNT & the Norwegian Hapa Band; and the special presentation of the hit play The Wong Kids in the Secret of the Space Chupacabra Go! by Lloyd Suh in Manila comprise the season to be produced by Ma-Yi Theater Company during their 2016-2017 season, it is announced by the company's Producing Artistic Director Ralph B. Peña and Executive Director Jorge Z. Ortoll. 

On Thursday, November 3, Elizabeth LeCompte, experimental theater and media pioneer, and founding member and director of the internationally acclaimed theater company The Wooster Group, was awarded the 23rd annual Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize at a packed house at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.
