Tommy Tune hosted the The 7th Annual Career Transition For Dancers' Heart & Soul Gala at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach last night and BroadwayWorld was there.

On Monday, September 28th, ROLEX presented Career Transition For Dancers' 30th Anniversary PEARL JUBILEE: A STAR-STUDDED RETROSPECTIVE in association with the Lloyd E. Rigler - Lawrence E. Deutsch Foundation, at New York City Center. The spectacular show was a gala celebration of Career Transition For Dancers: 30 YEARS CHANGING LIVES! On January 29th, over 200 guests filled the Circle Ball Room at The Breaker's in Palm Beach for a thrilling evening of dinner, dance and music hosted by actor and singer Gianni Russo of "The Godfather" fame thanks to the efforts of a group of powerhouse chairs and committee members. International Chair was Herme De Wyman. Gala Co-Chairs were Anka Palitz, Jennifer Myerberg and Ann Van Ness. Dinner chairs were George J. Palladino and Jerrold St. George. Angela Lansbury received the 2014 Rolex Dance Award. James Earl Jones, Ms. Lansbury's Driving Miss Daisy co-star, presented her with the award. The 2014 Career Transition For Dancers Outstanding Contributions to the World of Dance Awards honorees went to Janice Galli Becker, Fe Saracino Fendi, and Joe Tremaine & Tremaine Dance Conventions & Competitions. First performed by the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo on October 16, 1942 at the Metropolitan Opera House, de Mille's groundbreaking Western ballet features a unique combination of ballet and Broadway-style dancing set to Aaron Copland's famous score.

ROLEX Career Transition For Dancers 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee was a complete sell out with everyone of the 2,700 seats at City Center filled. Over 800 guests went on the the Hilton for the Anniversary supper, the live luxury auction and dancing with the dancers. The evening raised a cool $ 1.2 Million which will go to CTFD's scholarship programs. Allen Brill, ROLEX USA, CEO & President committed to presenting the annual Jubilee for three more years.
