The Public Theater will open its 2014-15 downtown season with the world premiere of Bridget Everett's ROCK BOTTOM at Joe's Pub.š Created by Bridget Everett, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, and Matt Ray, ROCK BOTTOM was originally commissioned as part of the Joe's Pub 2013 New York Voices series.

'I Think About You' is the cabaret version of Anthony de Mare's latest initiative, 'Liaisons: Re-Imagining Sondheim from the Piano.' July 18-19, 2014, during Bear Week 2014, will mark the premiere of 'I Think About You,' which is exclusively tailored for Provincetown audiences, directed by Jef Hall-Flavin.

Andrea Martin is a two-time Emmy Award winner for the critically acclaimed sketch comedy series SCTV, and is also a two-time Tony Award winner. She won her second and most recent Tony Award last June of 2013 for her performance as Berthe in the Broadway revival of "Pippin" directed by Diane Paulus and her first award was for the musical 'My Favorite Year.' She is currently starring on Broadway at Lincoln Center in "Act One" by James Lapine opposite Tony Shalhoub. She is also filming a new television sitcom "Working The Engels" written by Katie Ford ("Miss Congeniality," "Desperate Housewives") which is now filming in Toronto. On June 28 and 29, this comic star of stage and screen returns to Broadway@ The Art House for the first time since its inaugural season in 2011. Definitely see "Church Basement Ladies" and this incredible new space. ...the outstanding performances, character bonding and the truths of these four women will resonate. The sold-out audience was enthralled the night I went, appreciative at seeing professional performers shining on a brand new stage. As for the Jimmy Ferraro Studio Theatre, it looks like it will be a New Port Richey touchstone for a long time to come. And with that, we all would like to say to Mr. Ferraro as well as to the cast and crew of "Church Basement Ladies": Welcome home!

Theatrical Memoir ACT ONE Closes Tonight on Broadway

The Lincoln Center Theater production of Act One will play its final performance tonight at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. Act One was written and directed by James Lapine and based on the 1954 autobiography by Moss Hart. The production originally opened on April 17 for a limited engagement.

Broadway's ACT ONE with Tony Shalhoub & Santino Fontana to be Filmed for LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER!

Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award-nominated production of ACT ONE, written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart, will be filmed for Live from Lincoln Center for an anticipated broadcast on PBS at a future date, it has just been announced. ACT ONE which is up for 5 Tony Awards this Sunday, including Best Play, runs through June 15 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

MEET & GREET, a new comedy play by tv veterans Stan Zimmerman (The Golden Girls, Roseanne, Gilmore Girls) & Christian McLaughlin (Married with Children, Desperate Housewives) and directed by Stan Zimmerman (Entertaining Mr. Sloane, Blink & You Might Miss Me, A Tuna Christmas), will be presented by Combined Artform at Hollywood Fringe 2014. The outrageous comedy features an all star cast, including Daniele Gaither (Mad TV, Groundlings), Teresa Ganzel (Wall-E, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson), Carolyn Hennesy (True Blood, General Hospital), Paul Iacono (G.B.F., The Hard Times of RJ Berger) and Vicki Lewis (NewsRadio, Chicago on Broadway). It runs for five performances at Theatre Asylum, 6320 Santa Monica Blvd in Los Angeles on Sunday June 8th at 4pm, Saturday June 14th at 7pm, Sunday June 22nd at 7pm, Wednesday June 25th at 8:30pm and Saturday June 28th at 7pm.
