Cotuit Center for the Arts offers Art Week from August 24-28. The art camp meets daily from 10am-3pm and includes entertainment during the lunch hour. Students may register for the full week or have the option to attend half days; mornings from 10am-noon or afternoons from 1pm-3pm. CCftA instructor Michelle Law and friends lead students ages 7-10 through a week of workshops designed to encourage artistic expression and raise awareness of the many branches of art. Students are invited to explore the worlds of Fine Art, Music, and Theater as they create under the instruction of exceptional area artists and performers. Projects and themes vary by session.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is pleased to announce the full cast for Ordinary Days, a new musical with Music & Lyrics by Adam Gwon, directed by Marc Bruni. Ordinary Days will feature Lisa Brescia as 'Claire,' Hunter Foster as 'Jason,' Jared Gertner as 'Warren' and Kate Wetherhead as 'Deb.' This production marks the first musical presented in the Black Box Theatre.

Gracye Productions is pleased to announce the upcoming premiere of BUDDY BECKER'S BIG UNCUT FLICK, the company's fourth production with The New York International Fringe Festival. Performances of Todd Michael's comedy, which parodies 1940s film and 1960s television, will be directed by Walter J. Hoffman and will appear at The Players Theatre (115 Macdougal Street).

Creede Repertory Theatre is offering day camps for kids August 3rd - 8th. Boomtown Jr. for ages 12+ will explore the basics of improv comedy. This camp, taught by Jessica Jackson and Charlie Thurston (very talented members of CRT's Boomtown troupe), is held from 9am-1pm each day.

THE ORPHANS' HOME CYCLE, the world premiere of a three part theatrical event by the late Academy Award and Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Horton Foote, will feature a company of 22 actors under the direction of Michael Wilson. The Boomerang Theatre Company (Tim Errickson, Artistic Director; Francis Kuzler, Managing Director) will present Shakespeare's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS from June 20th thru July 19th, 2009 in Central Park. The production will also play a special performance in Fort Totten Park in Bayside Queens on July 25th, 2009. The show is an outdoor production, and is free to the public. The 12th Annual New Works Festival is scheduled June 19 - 21 with staged readings of the plays and a special dance presentation.

Othello Polynesia, a new take on the classic by the Black Friars is coming to Downstage in June. This tragic tale of revenge, betrayal, jealousy and love comes alive in modern-day Polynesia.
