59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) welcomes anecdota with the Off-Broadway premiere of TAKE WHAT IS YOURS, with a script by Erica Fae and Jill A. Samuels, and directed by Jill A. Samuels.

Long Wharf Theatre will present My Name is Asher Lev, by Aaron Posner and adapted from Chaim Potok's 1972 novel,directed by Long Wharf Theatre Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein. The show will run from May 2 through May 27 on the Mainstage. The press opening will take place Wednesday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40-$70. Tuesday, March 20, Primary Stages launched the final production of its 27th season, the New York premiere of The Morini Strad, a new play by Willy Holtzman (Sabina). Directed by Casey Childs, the cast features Michael Laurence (Krapp39, Broadway's Talk Radio, Opus at Primary Stages), Tony® nominee Mary Beth Peil ("The Good Wife," "Dawson's Creek," The King and I), and celebrated violin soloist Hanah Stuart (Chicago Symphony, Zankel Hall). CollaborationTown (The Play About My Dad, The Momentum) presents the World Premiere of THE DEEPEST PLAY EVER: THE CATHARSIS OF PATHOS by Geoffrey Decas O'Donnell with music by Michael Wells. Directed by Lee Sunday Evans and Jordan Seavey, previews begin March 9 at the New Ohio Theatre. An acclaimed 2006 production of this Brecht satire won an Outstanding Playwrighting Award at FringeNYC; this newly revised, reworked production is slated for opening on Wednesday, March 14.

On Monday, March 12, 2012, New York Theatre Barn will present NYTB in the D-Lounge, a monthly concert for emerging musical theatre writers (now in its 5th year), at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The March 2012 installment of NYTB in the D-Lounge features composer/lyricists Joey Contreras and Stephanie Johnstone.

Written and performed by Marcella Goheen and directed by Larry Moss, The Maria Project runs now through April 1st. Using documentary footage, music and story telling, The Maria Project takes the audience on Marcella Goheen's spiritual quest to uncover the mysterious disappearance of Maria Salazar - her grandmother.

ETERNAL EQUINOX began performances on Thursday, March 1 for a limited engagement through Saturday, March 31. Press opening is Wednesday, March 7 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM and 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters.
