TOSOS ("The Other Side of Silence") is dedicated to preserving the theatrical heritage of the LGBT community through the development of new plays by emerging artists as well as revivals of established works. Our productions honestly explore the unique LGBT experience and cultural sensibilities in a life-affirming and respectful way.   TOSOS was originally formed in 1974 by playwright Doric Wilson. During its five-year existence, this first TOSOS featured new plays and revivals by playwrights from Brendan Behan and Noel Coward to Terrence McNally, Robert Patrick, Martin Sherman, and Lanford Wilson.

In 'Allen Wilder 2.0' by Matt Morillo, a director of softcore porn returns from Hollywood to his dead parents' house in Levittown, LI to sort through his belongings and re-examine the shame of his life. Can his ex-babysitter, recently divorced, soothe the wounds of failure he feels?  The 'trap of regrets' in each of these two gets comic treatment in this new play, whose premiere will be presented by Theater for the New City January 7 to 31, 2016, directed by the author.

The production will feature Robert Homeyer, Steph van Vlack, Aristotle Stamat, Oliver Thrun, Matthew Angel, Mark Lang, Kim Vogels, and Lissa Moira*. The creative team will include Set and Lighting Design by Mark Marcante, Costumes and Props by Lytza Colon, Sound Design by Roy Chang, and Choreography by Angela Harriell. Zack Calhoon, Mark Souza to Lead Boomerang Theatre Company's HAMLET


The Boomerang Theatre Company (Tim Errickson, Artistic Director; Sue Abbott, Managing Director) announced addition casting for their 2012 outdoor production of Shakespeare's Hamlet, adapted and directed by Artistic Director Tim Errickson and starring Zack Calhoon as Hamlet and Mark Souza as Laertes.
