After last year’s record-breaking Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and with tens of thousands of tickets already sold for this Christmas, The King’s Theatre, Glasgow have announced additional dates for this year’s high-flying pantomime adventure, Peter Pan.

The producers of the highly acclaimed UK tour of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em have announced the casting of Susie Blake returning as Frank's disapproving mother-in-law Mrs Fisher, Moray Treadwell as Mr Luscombe/Mr Worthington, James Paterson as Father O'Hara and Ben Watson as Desmond/Constable.

Finding a brand-new way to open the doors of the King’s Theatre, despite the pandemic, Edinburgh’s favourite panto venue has teamed up with professional photographer Tom Duffin to create a virtual theatre tour. 

Capital Theatres today announces that this year's King's panto, Sleeping Beauty has been rescheduled until November 2021.

With Friday 30 August marking both Frankenstein Day and Mary Shelley's 222nd birthday, the cast of the Belgrade Theatre's forthcoming co-production of Frankenstein have been marking the occasion by paying a visit to one of the author's old haunts.

Scottish screen actress Eilidh Loan is to star in the new theatrical adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, depicting Shelley herself onstage as the author personally unfolding her monstrous tale of creature and creator. With a cast also including Ben Castle-Gibb, Thierry Mabonga, Sarah MacGillivray, Natali McCleary, Michael Moreland and Greg Powrie, the seminal 1818 gothic horror novel adapted by award-winning writer Rona Munro will now run until 7 March 2020 as new dates are added.

After a highly acclaimed and previously sold-out tour in 2018, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em is back by popular demand and will tour the UK in 2020. Joe Pasquale returns as the loveable but accident-prone Frank Spencer in the stage production of the classic 1970s TV comedy, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. Sarah Earnshaw is returning as his long-suffering wife Betty and Susie Blake his disapproving mother-in-law, Mrs Fisher. Further casting to be announced. The stage adaptation is by Guy Unsworth, based on the original TV series by Raymond Allen. Guy Unsworth will also be directing.

A new theatrical adaptation of Mary Shelley's seminal 1818 gothic horror novel Frankenstein is set to depict Shelley onstage, as she unfolds her monstrous tale of creature and creator. Adapted by award-winning writer Rona Munro and co-produced by leading company Selladoor (in the company's tenth anniversary year), Matthew Townshend Productions, Belgrade Theatre Coventry, and Perth Theatre at Horsecross Arts, the production will tour nationwide from 2 September - 30 November 2019. Further dates and casting are yet to be announced.
