Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominee Melissa van der Schyff, accompanied by award-winning jazz pianist and composer Sharon Minemoto, performs an all-new cabaret at The Abbey on February 23 at 8 p.m.

This past Monday, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominee Melissa van der Schyff in "The Summer in Winter," an intimate concert of lush jazz standards, a few country classics and some engaging originals. Scroll down for photos!

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Following the sold out performance of Jeremy Jordan's cabaret Breaking Character, The Abbey has announced additional Broadway stars that will be performing in the all-new Broadway Spotlight Series. Two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz will return to The Abbey in March to perform his cabaret Girls, Girls, Girls. Additional performances include Brad Bradley, Melissa van der Schyff, and Paul Anthony Stewart.
