Eden Court has announced a range of measures to support audiences, artists and residents of Inverness to access the arts, while also laying out measures to protect the organisation for the long-term.

Eden Court's Board of Trustees today announces Rebecca Holt will succeed James Mackenzie-Blackman as the new Chief Executive of the Highland arts venue.

Retro Productions will present a live benefit reading of The Man Who Came to Dinner by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman on Friday, February 26th at 7pm EST. Proceeds from the 'pay-what-you-will' fundraiser will help fund future Retro productions. The reading is directed by Sara Thigpen and will be presented over Zoom.

Award-winning Retro Productions, under the Artistic Direction of Heather E. Cunningham, opened the critically acclaimed play, And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little, on Friday. The play was written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Paul Zindel. The production runs through May 20that the Gene Frankel Theatre, numerous shows have already sold-out.

Retro Productions is pleased to announce that they will be donating a percentage of their box-office to the New York City based Neighborhood Cats. A catch, neuter, and release organization that was founded in 1999 by 3 Upper West Side neighbors who came together to help a colony of 30 feral cats.

Award-winning Retro Productions, under the Artistic Direction of Heather E. Cunningham, will present the critically acclaimed play, And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. The production runs May 5th through May 20th at the Gene Frankel Theatre. Shay Gines, a Founding Executive Director of the New York Innovative Theatre Awards, directs. This is the 50th anniversary of And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. The play was originally produced in Los Angles in 1967, and in 1971 the comedy opened on Broadway at the Morosco Theatre.

Theater for the New City (Executive Director, Crystal Field) presents the world premiere of the musical comedy Heather Smiley for President, which will begin previews on Thursday, October 1st, at the Theater for the New City (155 First Avenue at 10th Street), with an opening set for Sunday, October 11th.    The musical has a book and lyrics by Tom Attea with music composed by Arthur Abrams. The production is directed by Mark Marcante and choreographed by Angela Harriell. Heather Smiley for President will play a limited engagement through October 25th. Alan Simon returns to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on January 27th and February 3rd, 2015 at 7pm in A Woman's Touch featuring Rebecca Holt (Broadway revival of How To Succeed...), Kristin Feeney (Goodspeed Opera House) and Kelsey Landon (The Acting Company) in a festive entertainment with humor, heart and hijinks.

This Monday, the Computer School brings Broadway to the Upper West Side! The school's annual Night of Stars concert raises money for the Computer School After School Music Program, helping to provide scholarships, keep fees low, and purchase new instruments.
