Roots And Tings Announces Debut Album
Quannum and Solesides co-founder, and Grammy nominated MC, Lateef the Truth Speaker has joined forces with acclaimed Bay Area DJ and producer Jah Yzer and the multi-talented musician and reggae artist Winstrong. Together they have combined elements of dancehall, reggae, and hop-hop into their own brand of Revolutionary Culture Music with a Bay Area bend on their newest project Roots & Tings.
Quannum and Solesides co-founder, and Grammy nominated MC, Lateef the Truth Speaker has joined forces with acclaimed Bay Area DJ and producer Jah Yzer and the multi-talented musician and reggae artist Winstrong. Together they have combined elements of dancehall, reggae, and hop-hop into their own brand of Revolutionary Culture Music with a Bay Area bend on their newest project Roots & Tings.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University has announced additional programming associated with its upcoming production of Gloria: A Life. Upcoming activities embody Gloria Steinem's lifelong efforts to achieve equity, inspire empathy, and build community. Activities include Act II talking circles with special guests, partnerships more than forty not-for-profit organizations, a donation drive, and a companion historical exhibition.

Each release will be accompanied by original artwork, limited edition t-shirts from aspiring designers and will be available on both vinyl 45's and digitally, everywhere you can stream.

PHOTO FLASH Amadeu: un musical entre la zarzuela y el rock
Regresa 'Amadeu' a los Teatros del Canal de Madrid, un montaje de Albert Boadella que rinde tributo a uno de nuestros compositores mas olvidados del siglo XX, Amadeu Vives, creador de importantes zarzuelas como 'Doña Francisquita' y operas como 'Maruxa'. Tan olvidado estaba que sus restos iban a ser depositados en 1995 en una fosa comun ya que nadie se hacia cargo de ellos. Fue gracias a una polemica que tuvo lugar en las paginas de La Vanguardia, que alguien por fin se hizo cargo de los restos. Fue el Orfeo Catala -que el mismo fundo junto a Lluis Millet en 1891- quien se encargo de los gastos para enterrarlo en Barcelona. Y a partir de este triste suceso, Albert Boadella ha desarrollado esta historia en la que quiere acercar nuestra tradicion musical tan desligada de la juventud española. Sin duda todo un proyecto de divulgacion que estrena en los Teatros del Canal el proximo 14 de abril.
