Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for the third season of its NAACP Image Award-winning anthology “Truth Be Told” starring Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer, who also executive produces, and award-winning actress Gabrielle Union, who joins the all-new season. The video trailer also stars Ron Cephas Jones, Merle Dandridge, and Tracie Thoms.

Slumberland takes audiences to a magical new place, a dreamworld where precocious Nemo (Marlow Barkley) and her eccentric companion Flip (Jason Momoa) embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Apple TV+ today unveiled a first-look at the third season of the epic, post-apocalyptic global hit series “See,” which will make its global debut in August. Starring Jason Momoa, the eight-episode third season will mark the last chapter of the series and will premiere with the first episode, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

The game will be followed by an adult animated comedy series coming in 2023, starring Tom Ellis (Rush, Lucifer), Abraham Lim (Clickbait,The Boys), Lucy Liu (Shazam, Elementary), Ally Maki (Wrecked, Toy Story 4), Mark Proksch (What We Do In The Shadows, Better Call Saul) and Sasheer Zamata (Woke, Home Economics).

The 10-episode second season of the anthology drama, which provides a glimpse into America’s obsession with true crime podcasts, will return on Friday, August 20, 2021 with the first episode, followed by new episodes premiering every Friday.

Fathom Events partners with Fox Searchlight Pictures for the theatrical debut of “Tolkien,” giving audiences the chance to see this much-anticipated film on May 7 ahead of its theatrical nationwide release on May 10.  The Fathom cinema event will also feature an exclusive live Q&A with stars Nicholas Hoult, Lily Collins and director Dome Karukoski, moderated by Tolkien super-fan Stephen Colbert host of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS. “Tolkien” tells the story of how J. R. R. Tolkien transformed from a lonely orphan into one of the great storytellers of all time — a story that is itself an enchanting tale lit with the power of imagination, the bonds of fellowship and the forging of purpose in the fires of love and war.

TOLKIEN explores the formative years of the orphaned author as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration among a group of fellow outcasts at school. This takes him into the outbreak of World War I, which threatens to tear the “fellowship” apart. All of these experiences would inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels.

Tolkien, the Fox Searchlight film about the Lord of the Rings author is set to open in theaters on May 10, according to Deadline.

According to Variety, Apple has given a series pickup to the Octavia Spencer starrer “Are You Sleeping,” from Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine and Chernin Entertainment/Endeavor Content.

A Legacy of Changing Lives, presented by the Fulfillment Fund, will honor the legacy of Cherna and Dr. Gary Gitnick with a star-studded gala on Tuesday, March 13 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland.
