Michaela DeJoseph was a finalist in the 2016 Roger Rees Awards and in 2017 was awarded Best Up and Coming Actress in the 2017 Roger Rees Excellence in High School Theater.
She is currently attending Marymount Manhattan College where she is Studying Theater Performance and Musical Theater.

I was doing all of that and more. Actually, I was sitting in a dressing room. I was finishing the run of a musical called 'Good News' at Marymount Manhattan College. The Broadway Education Alliance just presented The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance (formerly the Gershwin Awards), yesterday The Beacon High School in Manhattan. This annual talent showcase featured 44 students representing 26 New York City metro area high schools competing for the coveted title of Best Actress and Best Actor in a musical.
