Chester Theatre Company Stages ON THE EXHALE
Chester Theatre Company (CTC) presents Martín Zimmerman's On the Exhale July 25-August 4. First preview is July 25 at 2:00pm, and the opening is July 25 at 8:00pm. Written in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting, the play takes a unique look at the issues surrounding guns and gun violence in America. The production stars CTC Associate Artistic Director and Berkshire native Tara Franklin.
Theater With A View Announces Philadelphia-Area Premiere Of Martín Zimmerman's ON THE EXHALE
Theater with a View, a professional outdoor theatre company located in Pottstown, PA, will stage the Philadelphia-area premiere of Martin Zimmerman's On The Exhale. The gripping and timely one-person show, which was originally produced by Roundabout Theatre Company Underground, will be presented as part of Theater with a View's 2018 season from July 11 to 28, 2018 at Sycamore Hill, (481 Ebelhare Road, Pottstown).

Alley All New Expands Reading Series with Martín Zimmerman's On The Exhale
Alley All New continues its offerings with an additional reading - Martin Zimmerman's On The Exhale. The special reading event marks the official launch of the Alley All New Reading Series, an ongoing series featuring new work in various stages of the development process. The reading, directed by Alley's Associate Director James Black, is on Monday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Texas Room at the Alley Theatre. Advance reservations are recommended and can be made at alleytheatre.org or by calling the Box Office at 713-220-5700. The presentation is free and open to the public.
MTC Playwrights Lauren Gunderson and Martin Zimmerman Are 2014 Harold and Mimi Steinberg Award Finalists
Marin Theatre Company's artistic director Jasson Minadakis has announced that Lauren Gunderson's I and You, which premiered at Marin Theatre Company in October with support from the National New Play Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund, and Martín Zimmerman's Seven Spots on the Sun, which won MTC's 2012 Sky Cooper New American Play Prize and received a public staged reading at MTC in June 2013, have been selected as finalists for the 2014 Harold and Mimi Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award.
Works by Martín Zimmerman, A. Rey Pamatmat and More Set for Victory Gardens' 2012 IGNITION FESTIVAL
Victory Gardens Theater Artistic Director Chay Yew and Executive Director Jan Kallish announce the new plays selected for the company's 2012 IGNITION Festival. The selected plays are: Seven Spots on the Sun by Martin Zimmerman; The Shotgun Message by A. Rey Pamatmat; Samsara by Lauren Yee; Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and The Curious Walk of the Salamander by Kirsten Greenidge. VG Playwrights Ensemble Member Marcus Gardley will join the selected group as a Playwright-in-Residence. Gardley will spend his time researching and drafting his upcoming play Chicago is Burning.
