Theater With A View Announces Philadelphia-Area Premiere Of Martín Zimmerman's ON THE EXHALE Theater with a View, a professional outdoor theatre company located in Pottstown, PA, will stage the Philadelphia-area premiere of Martín Zimmerman's On The Exhale. The gripping and timely one-person show, which was originally produced by Roundabout Theatre Company Underground, will be presented as part of Theater with a View's 2018 season from July 11 to 28, 2018 at Sycamore Hill, (481 Ebelhare Road, Pottstown).

When a senseless act of violence changes her life forever, a liberal college professor finds herself inexplicably drawn to the very weapon used to perpetrate the crime-and to the irresistible feeling of power that comes from holding life and death in her hands. Peering down the barrel of a uniquely American crisis, she begins to suspect that when it comes to gun violence, we're all part of the problem.

Theater with a View's production of On The Exhale features Nina Covalesky (TwaV's Rabbit Hole, Detroit, Circle Mirror Transformation) playing Woman. Elaina DiMonaco, widely acclaimed for her directorial interpretations of the one-person shows 2.5 Minute Ride at Theatre Horizon and Bad Dates at Act II Playhouse, will make her Theater with a View debut with this production.

"I am thrilled that Theater with a View is bringing ON THE EXHALE to Pottstown," said Covalesky. "Martín Zimmerman has written a startling, timely, and wonderfully original play that speaks to the terrifying reality of gun violence in America. It is starkly relevant, and it is an honor to be able to contribute to the urgent conversation that all our communities are grappling with at this singular moment in our nation's history."

Theater with a View is proud to announce that they will donate $1 from every ticket sold to Everytown for Gun Safety, a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities. More details at everytown.org.

Tickets to On The Exhale are $30, $20 for students. Performances are July 11-28, Wednesday through Saturday at 7PM. Every Wednesday's performance is "pay what you wish."
