Celebrate the Curtis Institute of Music's historic 100th anniversary with the 2024-25 season, 'Great to Groundbreaking'.

The Music Institute of Chicago presents Grammy-nominated quintet Imani Winds performing “Black and Brown II: A celebration of composers of color” Saturday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Avenue in downtown Evanston.

To celebrate the announcement, BryhM has also released the single “Deep Blue”- a funky meditative strut featuring electric sitar. The album was produced by Hornsby and Rob Moose and recorded in both Williamsburg, VA and in New York, NY. It features additional contributions from jazz legend Branford Marsalis, Mark Dover and drummer Chad Wright.

Norah Jones and yMusic(Alex Sopp, flute; Mark Dover, clarinet; CJ Camerieri, trumpet; Rob Moose, violin; Nadia Sirota, viola; and Andrew Janss, cello) will appear as special guest artists this Wednesday, January 10 at The Energy Curfew Music Hour.
