LISA LOWE BIO

Lisa Lowe grew up performing in NJ and got their BFA from NYU Tisch. They were lucky enough to study at the Meisner Studio as well as the New Studio on Broadway. After graduation, Lisa was in many callbacks for national tours but instead landed a role in Bated Breath Theatre Company’s production of Unmaking Toulouse Lautrec. Then Covid happened. Lisa worked with Bated Breath to restore theatre in NYC and they put up the covid safe walking theatre piece: Voyeur. Lisa was nominated for best actor in this production by Broadway world, but after it closed Lisa decided to move to South Florida to live happily with her husband and continue to perform and create theatre in a new place. Since living in Florida, Lisa has worked with Entracte Theatrix on Young Frankenstein & has played the role of Lewis in Pippin with PPTOPA. In their free time, Lisa is always working on their dance skills as well as singing with their church choir. Lisa is also a member of the Palm Beach County Play Development Collective and is always looking for new projects to be a part of. Lisa is actively auditioning for musicals and plays and more film, tv, and commercial work now a days.

THE BIRTHDAY PARTY by Harold Pinter Plays in Redwood City, Now thru 6/15

Highly controversial when it opened in 1958 and now considered a classic, The Birthday Party is one of Pinter's least subtle plays. Set in a seaside boarding house, it is part black comedy and part whodunit, with the central action literally happening in the dark. Like all great literature, it asks timeless questions: How can we be sure that anyone is who he says he is? Is it ever possible to pin down the truth of the past? And can we ever escape our deepest fears?
